Management Centre Europe (MCE) is European headquarters of the American Management Association. MCE was established in Brussels (Belgium) in 1961, and provides management development solutions ensuring that clients have the right leadership, functional and management competences to implement their strategy.
Ann Edwards is an MCE faculty member, Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development (UK) and Affiliate Member of the British Psychological Society.
Ms Edwards' consulting experience includes a number of years in the field of talent and performance management, training and development, and executive coaching. She has extensive experience in change management with a track record in improving organisational and people effectiveness, and leadership development initiatives. Ms Edwards has gained experience at such companies as BBC, British Gas, Ladbroke Group, Liberty.
Ms Edwards will talk what is the scene for the strategic role and contribution of HR to the organisation’s success, what capabilities an organisation needs to lead in a chosen sector, why it is important to align the people strategy to the company’s strategy. The speaker’s insights will be valuable to both HR subject matter specialists and company managers in general.
Žanas Neimantas
Head of Personnel, Palink (IKI retail chain) (Lithuania)
Palink operates the second largest retail chain in Lithuania employing over 7,000 people.
Žanas Neimantas has been working in retail for 7 years. For three years he managed IKI stores and from 2004 Mr Neimantas is Head of Personnel for Lithuania and Latvia. His areas of expertise include building the HR strategy, HR management, implementation of employee training and adaptation projects.
Mr Neimantas will answer the questions when employee motivation becomes a trend and how it affects companies. The speaker will also review a variety of employee motivation systems and highlight their advantages and shortcomings.
Kadi Tartu
Baltic HR Manager, Coca-Cola HBC Baltics (Estonia)
Coca-Cola HBC is one of the largest bottlers of non-alcoholic beverages in Europe. The company has been operating in the Baltic states since 1992.
Ms Tartu holds the position of Baltic HR Manager at Coca-Cola HBC Baltics (CCHBC Baltics) for the last three years and has been working in the company’s HR management since 2001. She has been involved in the implementation of a performance management and people development system, designing employee value proposition, developing compensation policies and procedures including a variable-pay system design for CCHBC Baltics, establishing a framework for employer branding and employee engagement.
Ms Tartu will share her experience in employer branding: why the company chose to work on it, how internal communication was arranged around the issue, what worked well and what needs more focus.
Aidas Vaičiulis

Vaičiulis & Partners provides employee adaptation services for companies, including developing and implementing employee adaptation systems, organising open and internal seminars, and consulting.
Aidas Vaičiulis is a business management expert with more than 15 years of experience in management positions. He has been involved in the consulting business for more than 10 years.
The speaker will present the main goals and tactics of employee adaptation and will review practical issues related to this process.

Audrius Šošas has extensive business experience in top management positions. He started his business career as a representative of Johnson&Johnson in Lithuania, later on he worked as Sales Director, General Director and Vice-President at such companies as Farmacija, Tamro, Sanitas. Mr Šošas joined Amrop Hever in 2003, and he is an active member of the Lithuanian Business Managers' Club.
Mr Šošas will present a new understanding of the executive search process and consulting developments in recent years and highlight key points on how to bring qualified executives to companies.
